Cancellation and Refund Conditions
This document forms part of the MenuOnGo User Agreement. Capitalised terms have the meaning given in that Agreement. Where this document and the User Agreement cover the same subject, they are intended to say the same thing; if any conflict arises, the User Agreement prevails.
1. Summary
| Free month | 30 days, full Pro feature set, no payment method collected |
|---|---|
| When a term starts | All paid Plans: on the date of payment. The free month is not counted; if You buy Pro during it, the free days You have left are added to the end of the term. Not for Full Service (User Agreement, Article 5.5) |
| Upgrading Pro → Full Service | The value of the Pro licence days You paid for and haven't used is deducted from the Full Service price — a deduction, not a refund |
| Automatic charging | Only if automatic renewal is on. The box is ticked by default at checkout; You can untick it before You pay |
| Automatic renewal | On by default; Your choice. Reminders 30 and 7 days before; switch off any time in one step |
| Refunds | Full refund within 14 days of payment, no reason needed — for every purchase, including renewals (Article 3A). After that: no refund. Full Service: the 40% setup fee is kept even within the 14 days, on the setup purchase only (Article 3A.5). |
| If You don't pay | Account moves to the Free plan; Your menu stays live, with advertisements |
| Advertising | Shown on Free plan menus only — never in the free month, never on a paid Plan |
| Cancelling | Stop using it, or close Your account. Nothing further is owed |
2. Why Refunds Are Limited
2.1 Every account begins with a thirty (30) day free month covering the complete Pro feature set, including menu import by our team.
2.2 We do not collect a credit card, bank detail or any other payment method at sign-up. There is no trial that silently converts into a charge.
2.3 A paid Plan begins only when You decide, for Yourself, to complete a purchase — after You have had a full month to evaluate the product at no cost and no risk.
2.4 Because You are given the complete product free of charge before any payment is possible, payments are final once the fourteen-day withdrawal period in Article 3A has passed.
2.5 If You are not satisfied during the free month, do not purchase.
2.6 The free month is free. It is not part of any paid term. Every paid term — Pro or Full Service — starts on the date of payment. If You buy Pro during the free month, the free days You have left are not lost: they are added to the end of the term. No free days are added to a Full Service term (User Agreement, Article 5.5(a)).
3. No Refunds After Fourteen Days — Scope
3.1 After the fourteen-day withdrawal period in Article 3A, no refund, credit, exchange or pro-rata repayment will be made under any circumstance, including but not limited to the cases below. The other exceptions are the automatic-renewal refund window (Article 5.4) and the upgrade deduction in Article 4.3, which reduces the price of an upgrade and is never paid out.
- You stop using the Application;
- You are dissatisfied with the Application or with our support;
- You close, sell, relocate, rebrand or cease to operate Your business;
- You change Your mind, or purchased by mistake;
- You purchased the wrong Plan or a longer term than You intended;
- You did not use the features You paid for;
- Your account is suspended or terminated for breach of the User Agreement;
- You terminate the User Agreement, for any reason or none;
- a feature is changed, replaced or discontinued;
- a support reply or update request taking longer than its target time;
- the Application is unavailable for any period.
3.2 Apart from Article 3A, there is no cooling-off period, satisfaction guarantee, money-back guarantee or trial refund of any kind. Any earlier or differently worded refund promise made by MenuOnGo is withdrawn and superseded by this document.
3.3 Partial periods are not refundable and unused time has no cash value.
3A. Fourteen-Day Right of Withdrawal
3A.1 You may withdraw from any purchase within fourteen (14) days of the date of payment, without giving a reason. We grant this right voluntarily to every buyer, even though the Application is offered only to businesses.
3A.2 Tell us within the fourteen days by email to info@menuongo.com, through the dashboard, or in any other written way.
3A.3 We refund the full amount, with no deduction, within fourteen (14) days of receiving Your notice, to the payment method You used. Your paid Plan ends, Your account moves to the Free plan and Your Content is kept. For Full Service, Article 3A.5 applies.
3A.4 The right applies to every purchase — renewals and multi-year purchases included (User Agreement, Article 5.8).
3A.5 Full Service setup fee. Forty per cent (40%) of the amount paid for Full Service — up to forty per cent of one year's published Full Service price — is a setup fee. It is earned on payment, because the setup begins immediately, and it is not refunded on withdrawal; the rest is refunded. It applies only to the purchase with which the setup is carried out, not to renewals. If You withdraw from an upgrade, Your Pro term is restored (User Agreement, Article 5.8(d)).
4. Multi-Year and Promotional Purchases
4.1 Where You purchase a multi-year term or a promotional offer (for example, a "pay two years, use three" offer), the full amount is prepaid and Article 3 applies to the entire term. After the fourteen-day period in Article 3A, no portion is refundable, including years not yet used.
4.2 Promotional pricing, discounts and referral rewards have no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and are not refundable or transferable.
4.3 Upgrade from Pro to Full Service. The value of the Pro licence days You paid for and haven't used — pro rata by unused paid days, on the Pro amount actually paid excluding taxes — is deducted from the Full Service price. Free days added to a Pro term have no value for this purpose. The Full Service term starts on the date You pay the balance. The deduction has no cash value and cannot be refunded or transferred (User Agreement, Article 5.5(c)).
4.4 Referral rewards are granted as additional service time. They are not credits, are not redeemable for cash, and expire with the account.
5. How Cancellation Actually Works
5.1 If automatic renewal is off — because You unticked the box at checkout or switched it off in the dashboard — there is nothing to cancel. We do not charge You automatically, so You do not need to cancel to avoid a payment.
5.2 At the end of the free month, if You do not purchase, Your account moves to the Free plan automatically. Your Published Menu stays live and Your QR codes keep working, within the Free plan's limits, and it displays an advertisement as described in Article 14 of the User Agreement.
5.3 At the end of a paid term, if You do not purchase again and automatic renewal is off, the same thing happens: the account moves to the Free plan. Nothing is charged and nothing is taken down.
5.4 If automatic renewal is on: we email You 30 days and 7 days before the renewal date. Switch it off in the dashboard at any time, in one step, and Your Plan ends at the end of the current term. If a renewal goes through that You did not want, write to info@menuongo.com within 14 days of the charge and we refund it in full; Your account then moves to the Free plan.
5.5 We may send reminders that a term is ending. A reminder is a courtesy, not an invoice. Ignoring it has no financial consequence.
5.6 Closing Your account. You may close Your account at any time from the dashboard or by writing to info@menuongo.com. Closing an account ends Your licence, removes Your Published Menu and QR codes from service, and does not entitle You to any refund.
5.7 Notice by fax is not accepted. Written notice means email or a dashboard action.
6. Downgrade to the Free Plan
6.1 Downgrade is not a termination and not a penalty. It is the ordinary result of not purchasing.
6.2 On downgrade: features outside the Free plan are paused; advertisements are displayed on Your Published Menu (User Agreement, Article 14); and Your data is retained so that You can resume a paid Plan later.
6.3 You accept downgrade in advance as part of the User Agreement. No separate notice is required beyond the reminders described in Articles 5.4 and 5.5.
6.4 Paused Pro features (for example video, campaigns and translations beyond the Free plan's allowance) are not deleted, and they return if You buy a paid Plan again.
6.5 Advertising ends when You pay. Advertisements are removed from Your Published Menu as soon as a paid Plan starts. You receive no payment or share of revenue for advertisements shown while You are on the Free plan, and the presence of advertising does not create any refund right in respect of any earlier or later paid term.
7. Suspension and Termination by Us
7.1 We may suspend or terminate Your account immediately, without prior notice and without refund, where the User Agreement permits — including breach of the Agreement, unlawful or infringing Content, interference with the MenuOnGo attribution line or with advertising on Free plan menus (including artificial views or clicks), abuse of the Fair Use Policy, security threats, or a payment dispute.
7.2 Termination for breach carries no refund of any kind, including for time not yet used.
8. Chargebacks and Payment Disputes
8.1 If You believe a charge is wrong, contact us first at info@menuongo.com. We will look into it.
8.2 Initiating a chargeback or payment dispute instead of contacting us is a material breach of the User Agreement. We may suspend or terminate the account immediately on notice of a chargeback, and may recover the disputed amount together with any fees charged to us.
8.3 An account that has been the subject of a chargeback may be refused future purchases.
9. Payments Are Processed by Our Reseller
9.1 Purchases are processed by a third-party payment provider acting as our Merchant of Record and authorised reseller (the "Reseller"), identified to You at checkout.
9.2 The Reseller issues the payment invoice and is responsible for sales tax, VAT, GST and equivalent taxes on Your purchase.
9.3 MenuOnGo never receives, processes or stores Your card number or bank details.
9.4 The Reseller operates under its own terms. If the Reseller exercises any discretion available to it under those terms, that does not create a refund right against MenuOnGo, and this document continues to apply between You and us.
10. Mandatory Rights
10.1 The Application is provided only to businesses, for the purposes of their trade, business or profession (User Agreement, Article 1.3). It is not offered to consumers. Every purchase nevertheless carries the fourteen-day right of withdrawal in Article 3A.
10.2 Nothing in this document is intended to exclude or limit any right that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited under the law applicable to You. Where such a right exists and applies, it prevails over the corresponding provision here, and the remainder of this document continues to apply in full.
11. Changes
11.1 We may amend this document at any time by publishing an updated version at menuongo.com. The version in force at the time of Your purchase governs that purchase.
