Promotions and Referral Terms

These terms apply to the "Bring a friend" referral programme and the "Pay for 2 years, use 3" offer. They form part of the MenuOnGo User Agreement and the Cancellation and Refund Conditions; where they say nothing, those documents apply.
1. Bring a friend
How it works. Share your personal referral link from your dashboard with another business. When that business signs up through your link and buys a paid Plan, you both get free time:

The same table applies to your friend, based on the Plan your friend buys: 6 months if they buy Pro, 3 months if they buy Full Service.
When the reward is given. Rewards are added once your friend's fourteen-day withdrawal period (User Agreement, Article 5.8) has ended without a withdrawal. If your friend withdraws, no reward is given.
How the reward is used.
- If you are on a paid Plan, the free time is added to the end of your current paid term.
- If you are on the Free plan, Pro is switched on for six months from the day the reward is given; after that your account returns to the Free plan unless you buy a paid Plan.
- Your friend's free time is added to the end of the paid term they bought.
Who qualifies.
- Your friend must be a new MenuOnGo customer — a business that has not had a MenuOnGo account before — and must sign up through your referral link.
- Referring yourself, another account of your own business or a business you own or control does not qualify.
- There is no limit on the number of friends you can refer.
2. Pay for 2 years, use 3
How it works. On Pro and Full Service, you can buy a three-year term for the price shown at checkout, which equals two years of the annual price. The term starts on the date of payment and lasts three years (User Agreement, Article 5.5).
Refunds. The fourteen-day withdrawal right applies to the whole purchase (User Agreement, Article 5.8). For Full Service, the non-refundable setup fee on withdrawal is forty per cent (40%) of the amount paid, but never more than forty per cent of one year's list price (Article 5.8(d)). After fourteen days, no part of the three-year term is refundable, including years not yet used (Cancellation and Refund Conditions, Article 4.1).
Upgrade from Pro to Full Service. If you upgrade during a three-year Pro term, the value of your unused days is calculated by spreading the amount you actually paid (excluding taxes) evenly over the whole three-year term (User Agreement, Article 5.5(c)).
At the end of the three years. If automatic renewal is on, your Plan renews for one year at the annual price then in force, with reminders thirty (30) and seven (7) days before (User Agreement, Article 5.2). If it is off, your Plan ends and your account moves to the Free plan.
3. Combining offers
Offers can be combined. For example, if you buy a three-year term and also earn a referral reward, the free time is added to the end of the three-year term. Free days left from your free month are also added, as set out in User Agreement, Article 5.5(a).
4. General rules
- Free time has no cash value, cannot be exchanged for money, and is not refundable or transferable (Cancellation and Refund Conditions, Articles 4.2 and 4.4). It ends if your account is closed.
- Free time added to a Pro term has no value for the upgrade deduction (User Agreement, Article 5.5(c)).
- If we find abuse — fake accounts, self-referrals, or referrals obtained by spam or misleading claims — we may cancel the rewards concerned and take action under the User Agreement.
- We may change or end these offers at any time for the future. Rewards already earned, and terms already bought, are not affected.
